Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

Moose Pack Inc ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Tactical Talk Vision website ("Website"), the Tactical Talk Vision companion application ("App"), and the Tactical Talk Vision AR glasses system ("Device"), collectively referred to as the "Service."

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and payment information when you purchase an early access tier or create an account.
  • Profile Information: Professional role, use-case preferences, and coaching preferences you set in the App.
  • Communications: Messages you send to us via email, support requests, or feedback forms.
  • Beta Feedback: Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions provided during beta testing.

1.2 Information Collected by the Device

  • Visual Data: The glasses camera captures video data of the environment in your field of view. This data is processed in real-time on your connected smartphone and is not stored permanently unless you enable session recording.
  • Audio Data: The built-in microphone captures ambient audio for voice stress analysis. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently unless you enable session recording.
  • Behavioral Analysis Data: Derived data from visual and audio processing, including detected facial action units, body language classifications, voice stress metrics, and behavioral predictions. This processed metadata may be stored locally on your device for session review.
  • Device Telemetry: Battery level, connection status, firmware version, and performance metrics. This data is used for device maintenance and improvement.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

  • Website Analytics: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, page views, and interaction data when you visit our Website.
  • App Usage Data: Features used, session duration, mode selections, settings configurations, and crash reports.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Core Service Delivery

  • Processing and delivering real-time behavioral analysis through the Device
  • Providing AI coaching recommendations through bone conduction audio
  • Enabling session review and behavioral trend analysis in the App
  • Managing your account and subscription

2.2 Service Improvement

  • Improving the accuracy and performance of our AI models (using only anonymized, aggregated data — never raw video or audio)
  • Diagnosing technical issues and improving device reliability
  • Developing new features and modes based on usage patterns

2.3 Communications

  • Sending you product updates, launch notifications, and development milestones
  • Responding to your support requests and feedback
  • Sending transactional emails related to your purchases and account

3. Data Processing Architecture

3.1 On-Device Processing

Tactical Talk Vision is designed with a privacy-first architecture. All behavioral analysis — facial expression recognition, body language classification, and voice stress analysis — is performed locally on your connected smartphone. Raw camera footage and microphone audio are processed in real-time and discarded immediately unless you explicitly enable session recording.

3.2 What Stays on Your Device

  • All raw visual data (camera footage)
  • All raw audio data (microphone capture)
  • Session recordings (if you enable this feature)
  • Behavioral analysis results and history
  • Your personal coaching preferences and profiles

3.3 What May Be Sent to Our Servers

  • Cloud Backup (Opt-In Only): If you enable cloud backup, encrypted behavioral analysis metadata (not raw video/audio) may be stored on our servers for cross-device sync and recovery.
  • Anonymized Model Training Data (Opt-In Only): You may choose to contribute anonymized, non-identifiable behavioral data to improve AI accuracy. This data contains only statistical patterns — no images, audio, or identifiable information.
  • Device Telemetry: Basic device health data is sent periodically for maintenance purposes.
  • Crash Reports: If the App crashes, a technical report (not containing personal data) may be sent to our servers.

4. Facial Data Specific Policies

4.1 Not Facial Recognition

Tactical Talk Vision performs facial expression analysis, not facial identification or recognition. The system analyzes muscle movements (FACS Action Units) on a face to determine emotional states and behavioral signals. It does not:

  • Identify who a person is
  • Match faces against any database
  • Store facial templates, embeddings, or biometric identifiers of observed subjects
  • Track or identify individuals across sessions

4.2 Third-Party Facial Data

When you use Tactical Talk Vision, the Device's camera captures faces of people in your environment. These individuals are "Observed Subjects." We want to be transparent about how this data is handled:

  • Observed Subjects' facial data is processed in real-time on your local device
  • Raw facial images are not stored, transmitted, or retained after processing
  • No biometric identifiers of Observed Subjects are created or stored
  • If session recording is enabled, recorded footage is stored locally on your device and is your responsibility to manage and protect

4.3 Biometric Data Laws

Several jurisdictions have specific laws regarding biometric data (e.g., BIPA in Illinois, CCPA in California). While we believe Tactical Talk Vision's expression analysis does not constitute biometric identification as defined by most such laws, we implement protections consistent with these laws as a best practice. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific biometric data laws, please review those laws and our compliance measures before using the Product.

5. Data Retention

5.1 Account Data

We retain your account information for as long as you maintain an account with us. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records).

5.2 On-Device Data

Data stored locally on your device is under your control. You can delete session recordings, behavioral history, and all local data at any time through the App's settings.

5.3 Cloud Backup Data

If you use cloud backup, data is retained for as long as your account is active and for 30 days after account closure. You can delete cloud data at any time through the App.

5.4 Waitlist Data

If you join our waitlist, we retain your email address until you unsubscribe or until 12 months after the Product launches, whichever comes first.

6. Data Sharing

6.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or behavioral analysis data to any third party. Period.

6.2 Limited Sharing

We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted vendors who help us operate our business (e.g., Stripe for payments, cloud hosting for website). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
  • Safety: When we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm to any person or property.
  • Business Transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you of any such change.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • End-to-end encryption for data in transit
  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Role-based access controls for our team
  • SOC 2 compliance (in progress)

No system is perfectly secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to take your own precautions (strong passwords, device security, etc.).

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
